    • Didn’t take it seriously enough, didn’t understand

    • Wish I had known more about places or programs for someone who committed suicide

  • Actions
    • Have outlets/ support systems in every school that people know they can count on
    • Discuss depression, mental health issues more openly to reduce stigma. E.g., High-schoolers talk to younger kids
    • Our society will slow down enough to pay attention for schools to recognize differences in learning styles.
    • That people feel empowered to speak up and say what they need
    • Become more educated on the downside
