    • Proud that we are educated
    • Proud to know that I have friends who have had HIV and I know about it and can help
    • Proud that people want to learn about the effects of HIV and how it impacts our lives
  • Regrets
    • Regret that parents don’t know much about HIV
    • Regret that I didn’t educate myself sooner
    • Regret that HIV/AIDS didn’t come up during the mind mapping exercise
    • Regret that I make assumptions when I hear someone has AIDS (wondering if that person is homosexual
  • Actions
    • Everyone is aware of HIV’s existence
    • HIV will be overcome
    • We learn to accept and be comfortable with HIV infected people

  • Prouds
    • Proud that I started working at Calcutta House
    • Proud to maintain friendships regardless of their HIV status and being able to love them unconditionally
    • Proud that we can become buddies to infected people through the Action Aids Program
    • Not having AIDS
    • Being open-minded and making sure we know about AIDS
  • Regrets
    • Regret that I postponed things I could’ve done with my HIV infected friend and now it’s too late
    • Regret that sometimes families abandon their children with AIDS
    • Regret that we still have biases against people with AIDS
    • Regret that we lapse into a sense that it won’t affect me
    • That we can’t help people
    • Being afraid to be involved – emotional attachments

    • A cure
    • Other kids can learn as much as we did today and go through what we went through
