- Too many die from alcohol
- Feeling like some situations are safe so it is okay to drink
- Regretting drinking at 13. Now at 52, I realize I could not be a good role model during the years of drinking. Now I can let you know the medical ramifications of drinking and teach
- Drugs and alcohol have a major effect on homelessness and the poor
- Not knowing what to do to keep children from drinking and drugging despite kids having the knowledge of the consequences of drugs and alcohol

- Peers can tell the truth about responsible living and that makes more difference when people talk to you with respect rather than a lecture
- Parents need to be consistent in their rules about drinking and how they role model use of alcohol
- Talk more openly about issues with children
- Encourage children to think about the consequences of their actions

- As parents and Educators: able to recognize when we make comments that may promote eating disorder tendencies – and that we encourage our children to eat healthy and exercise in moderation.
- Not talk about (as a parent) of their negative body image
- We are not anorexic, we are proud of who we are and we don’t go along with the crowd

- Think of being something you aren’t
- Not knowing that someone is struggling with eating disorders
- Getting sucked into eating disorders
- Not knowing the signs of eating disorders
