Mr. Quinn Burke
Quinn has been a high school English teacher and counselor for the past five years. For the past three years, he has been working with underprivileged students at Maritime Academy, a Philadelphia charter high school located in the northeast part of the city. He is especially interested in equity issues in education as well as the role of parent/ school contracts in building closer relationships between home and school. A graduate of Boston College, Quinn received his masters in English Literature from Columbia University and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
